Karl Valiaho began music training in elementary school and with the Regina Lions Band. He attended Campbell Collegiate and went on to complete a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in jazz performance from McGill University. Karl then returned to Regina and played and toured with the R&B group Stepchyle. Switching paths, from 2004-2007 Karl attended law school at the University of Saskatchewan. He is now a lawyer with MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman LLP in Regina and continues to enjoy opportunities to play music.
