Jeff Richardi

     

Jeff Richardi, of Foxboro, Massechuetts, picked up the saxophone at age 10 and has played in numerous jazz and classical ensembles to this day.  His musical honors include two "Outstanding Soloist" awards presented by Wynton Marsalis at the annual Essentially Ellington competition of 2004 and 2005, and an invitation to perform in the All-Eastern Jazz Ensemble in Baltimore, MD in 2005 where he happened to meet Nathaniel Marro.  Since moving to Montreal, he has performed with the top McGill Jazz Orchestra as well as the Nova Quartet, which made some noise in April of 2007 by winning 2nd place in the Jazz en Raffale competition of Quebec.  Jeff continues to write music for the New Groove Orchestra as well as other jazz projects
