Jeff has worked as a very active professional musician in Western Canada for the past 10 years, in the jazz, R&B, and pop styles. Performing and recording with many of Saskatchewan's top artists, including, Jack Semple, Andrea Menard, Joel Farfard, Stepchyle, Skavenjah, Ed Lewis, Dean McNeill, Mark DeJong, Jon McCaslin, Nicol Lishka, Wyatt, and Dan Siljer. Jeff has also performed with national and internationally recognized artists including Bo Diddley, Lew Soloff, Dave Young, Ted Warren, and The Drifters. Jeff still maintains close ties with Saskatchewan, as he continues to perform as a member of one of Saskatchewan's top rock/pop groups, Jason Plumb and the Willing,  and Jack Semple’s New Organ Trio. With Jason, he has had the opportunity to play all over Canada, including most recently the North by North Music Festival in Toronto.  Jeff played on Plumb's last two CDs Beauty in This World and Wide Open Music, as well as Plumb’s tune written in honour of the Saskatchewan Roughriders "Paint the Whole World Green".  He has also had performed with Juno award winner Serena Ryder, with highlights being the Lollapalooza (Chicago) and Bonnaroo (Nashville) Music Festivals.  Jeff was recently featured with his own trio on a live broadcast at CBC Regina, for the Galleria concert series. 

During the past few years Jeff has been living in Rochester, New York, where is he doing graduate studies at the famed Eastman School of Music.  In May, 2009, Jeff graduated with a Masters of Music Degree from Eastman, and starting fall 2009, has begun work on his Doctorate.  Jeff instructs the Fundamentals of Jazz Piano course at the school, and works as the teaching assistant for Polish/Canadian pianist Dariusz Terefenko. He is studying piano with jazz great Harold Danko as well as studying with other faculty at Eastman including pianist/composer/arranger Bill Dobbins, and bassist Jeff Campbell.  Jeff holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the University of Regina (2002), where he studied classical piano with William Moore and jazz with Dr. Ed Lewis. He has also studied in Toronto with many well known musicians including Pat Labarbera, Don Thompson, and Brian Dickenson.
