R. Corey Taylor. Corey studied music performance at the University of Regina and jazz performance at McGill University (Montreal). Over the years he performed with a diverse roster of artists including the Regina Symphony Orchestra, the Bob Moyer Big Band and the Regina Riot to name a few. He has been heard on various recordings, CBC Radio, Radio Canada and many festivals. He continues to work as a clinician and has been on the teaching staff of the Prairielands Jazz Camp and numerous SBA summer band camps. For close to a decade Corey chaired the Downtowners Optimist Band Festival - one of the largest educational music festivals of its kind nationally. Proud to call Regina home, Corey represents the Winds, Strings & Percussion Department of Yamaha Canada Music.
